MANAGEMENT TEAM
Linda Longworth – Managing Director

A Bermudian, Linda has extensive experience in the Bermuda business sector working in the reinsurance, hospitality and international business sectors before joining the firm in 1997. Linda  is a member of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators and has over 20 years experience in the offshore services industry specializing in private client, trusts and estates/ fiduciary services, family office services and corporate governance/compliance for both local and international clients.

In June 2008, Linda assumed the role of Managing Director and Chairman of the Board of Directors of both Hamilton Trust Company Limited and International Managers Bermuda Ltd. both member firms of Moore Stephens International.

Linda is involved with various fund raising activities for local charitable organizations and enjoys walking and cycling.

Claudio Satasi – Director and Financial Controller

Claudio Satasi joined the firm in February 2008 with responsibility for both the internal accounting function and reporting of the group, and the external reporting requirements of client accounts.

Claudio was educated in London, England, where he also undertook his training and qualified as an accountant in May 1994. He became a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Certified Accountants in May 1999. In January 2005 Claudio completed his Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) examinations passing with distinction, with a further award for joint third place overall.

He initially joined KPMG in Bermuda in 1994 rising to the position of Director with overall responsibility for the strategic development and administration of the accounting services practice. He was also a member of the KPMG student and local business development committees.

Claudio is an avid skier, and more recently began playing golf, but is interested in all sports, particularly soccer in which he always represented his schools and training firm in London.

Betty B. Dale – Director and Head of Compliance

bettyBetty has responsibility for developing, implementing and monitoring the firm’s compliance, risk, governance and control framework. Betty joined the firm in 2012, following a career as a Financial Services Regulator. She brings a wealth of business experience and is also a published author on Corporate Governance, Corporate Architecture and Compliance related matters.

Betty attended St Godric’s College, London and is also a graduate of the University of Exeter, Devon, England where she earned a BA (Hons) in Business & Accountancy and an MBA (Financial Management). Whilst reading for her MBA, Betty was Vice President of the Post Graduate Society and is currently a Country Contact for the MBA Alumni Service.

Betty is a member of the Society of Trust & Estate Practitioners, the Association of Masters of Business Administration and also holds the Bermuda Insurance Institute Diploma. She is a Fellow of the International Compliance Association and enjoys imparting her knowledge to compliance students via the Mentorship Programme.

In her leisure time, Betty pursues the Arts, travel, swimming, gardening and reading. She is also active in community service and takes delight in volunteering for a range of charitable organisations.

Rebecca DeCouto – Trust Manager and Company Secretary

becciRebecca joined the firm in June 2006 as a trust and corporate administrator. In January 2009 Rebecca received her certificate in Corporate Procedures I from The Bermuda Branch of The Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators in Canada. In December 2010 Rebecca successfully completed her four year CLT International diploma course with the Society of Trust and Estates Practitioners (STEP) and January 2011 Rebecca became a full member of STEP.

In 2013 Rebecca assumed to roles of Trust Manager, Company Secretary and Corporate Manager. Rebecca also serves as director or company secretary for a number of companies under management.

Prior to joining the company Rebecca worked in broadcasting and held various accounting and administrative positions in international business.

Rebecca attended the Bermuda High School for Girls and is involved in fund raising activities for the Jackson School of Performing Arts. An active mother of 2, Rebecca enjoys spending time with her family and engaging in various outdoor activities.

NON EXECUTIVE BOARD MEMBERS

Richard Moore – Director

Chairman, Moore Stephens International Limited, London, UK

richard-mooreRichard is Chairman of Moore Stephens International Limited, Senior Partner of Moore Stephens LLP where he is Chairman of the firm’s Partnership Executive Committee.

Richard is a partner in the International Family Office Group. He specialises in advising high net worth clients and their related corporate interests on issues such as international structuring, tax planning and financial reporting. His client portfolio includes substantial international families and entities in the shipping, asset management, property investment, and sports and leisure sectors.

Richard joined Moore Stephens in 1968. He qualified as a chartered accountant in 1972, winning the Deloitte Plender Prize for Accounting. He worked in New York, Sydney and Hong Kong before returning to London, where he became managing partner in 1987 and senior partner in 1989. In 2004 he stood down as managing partner in London, to concentrate on his roles as Senior Partner in London and Chairman of Moore Stephens International Limited together with his client work.

Richard was a Commissioner of the Royal Hospital Chelsea for six years until 2012 and has served on various committees for the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.

Allan D. Marshall JP – Director

allanAllan attended Saltus Grammar School in Bermuda, St. Andrews School in Middletown, Delaware and graduated from Princeton University in 1978 with a degree in Economics and Political Science.

Allan joined the Bank of Bermuda in 1978 where he worked for 13 years. Allan was responsible for money market and foreign exchange dealing and corporate and client development and spent 7 years in the bank’s Hong Kong office managing their Treasury Department dealing principally with Fund Managers and Private Banking clients. In 1991, Allan joined Chevron International Limited where his responsibilities included the management and trading of their Short Term Money Market Portfolio. In 1992 Allan opened Pure Water (Bermuda) Limited, and led this company to become one of Bermuda’s most successful small businesses. He sold Pure Water in 1996 and started Clear Water Systems, focusing on water treatment products and services and divested from this firm in 1999 when he  joined Argent Financial Group as a director with responsibility for marketing and investor services until 2009. Since January 2009 Allan has acted as a consultant and director to Somers Real Estate Opportunity Fund and he holds directorships in a number of investment funds.

In 1997 Allan was appointed to the Bermuda Senate and in 1998 he was elected to Parliament where he served until 2003. Allan has served on a number of Government boards and committees during his career and continues to offer his service to community endeavours. Allan was a former member of Bermuda’s national soccer team in 1980 and his present hobbies include golf, swimming, reading and music.
